shiatsu and reflexology - healing modalities based on Traditional Chinese Medicine
Your body has an ability to heal itself - this ability to heal is enhanced once your body is free of tension and stress. Shiatsu and reflexology use this principle by applying pressure to certain pressure points (along the meridian lines in the body and on the feet or hands), which then allows a deep relaxation and freedom. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the meridians refer to energy channels in the body, linked to each of our organs. Shiatsu and reflexology both work to clear blockages in the meridians which allows improved functioning of our body's natural healing ability
